Youth Protection TrainingThe Boy Scouts of America places the greatest importance on creating the most secure environment possible for our youth members. To maintain such an environment, the BSA developed numerous procedural and leadership selection policies and provides parents and leaders with resources for the Cub Scout, Boy Scout, and Venturing programs.

Our entire scouting program is dependent on volunteer efforts. No one gets paid or any other rewards except for the satisfaction of knowing they are helping boys participate in a quality, life enhancing experience. We have plenty of opportunities available - some are event specific like the Pinewood Derby or Blue and Gold Banquet. Others require more time, such as Den Leaders and Pack management. When asked - say YES. It's the only way we will succeed.
In the event of inclement weather, Cub Scouts follow the school policy - No School, No Scouts. If school is delayed, Cub Scout activities proceed as normal.
Using What You Learn in Scouting is Everyday Life!
