Monday * February 22, 2010 * LeatherCraft and CubMobile

This will be a makeup night for completing the leathercraft project – BackPack Tag.  The boys who have completed this will begin work on the Cubmobile.  We need to locate 4 or 8 tires (depending on whether we make one or two).  The tires must be 10” or less.  I am waiting on whether they can be with bearings.  They must be hard rubber – not inflatable.

Hopefully we can complete the Cubmobile(s), since the race will be March 20^th. 

Saturday * March 6, 2010 * The Pinewood Derby

Webelos 1 are set for registration from 11:15 – 11:30, with the first Green Flag at 11:30 am.

Saturday * March 20, 2010 * Spring Blast and District Derby

Each Den will send two racers to the District Derby.  This year it will be at First Baptist Church in Mauldin.  

This will also be the only day of CubMobile Racing.  Location is still undetermined.

We have permission to run a day long ladder golf competition, with a few modifications.  The Committee has asked that we not charge and that we use a candy or small token award for each player.  We can post the winners on the Southbounder.com website.  I will approach our pack leadership for funding.
